Imagine traveling in a wagon on the Oregon Trail
and saying this,
"Was disturbed last night by the cry of a panther,
it was near our camp as we heard it distinctly. Its cry
resembles in sound a person in distress."
-Esther McMillan Hanna, May 19, 1852
Many of you study the Oregon Trail as part of the Westward
migration of people across the United States. This field trip
takes you to background information sites for individual or
class work as well as providing three online projects for
you to join.
